Returns 

Returns will not be accepted for any of the following reasons:

  • Original packaging is missing, incomplete, damaged or defaced.
  • Accessories, tags, manuals, or other original components missing or damaged.
  • Product is not in acceptable resale condition (Stains, markings, cuts, tears, any damages, or other product altering effects).
  • Odors of any kinds including detergent
  • Tags retagged in different locations or other technique
  • Promotional items not returned with purchase
  • All sales are final for clearance and sale items
  • Product returned with inadequate postage or "Postage Due" will be refused.

PRODUCT ISSUES

If the product is defective or damaged we will be happy to provide a prepaid return shipping label for you. Please email us at support@theactiveroom.com and provide us with photos and proof of the damage or defect. Once we've received the damaged, items will be subject to inspection and we will send out the replacement item the same day. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (packing slip that comes inside your package). If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 48-72 hours.

Shipping: Shipping fees are non-refundable, non-negotiable

International orders for returns are at the expense of the consumer, not The Active Room. 

Please take notice:

  • Damaged items cannot be returned.
  • Original order shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number.
  • Refurbished, Discontinued and Open Box Items: All sales are final.
  • We only process returns for items purchased from us.
  • We do not receive returns on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Weekends will not count as days for the 72-hour return authorization response time.
  • Custom ordered items or items that have been installed or disassembled cannot be returned.
  • No refunds will be given for any reason after 15 days from receipt of your order.
  • No returns will be accepted without proof of receipt.
  • Customers will be responsible to cover the shipping expense when returning items.

Return Procedure

1) Go to our Returns & Exchanges tab and fill out our form to start your return/exchange process.

2) Please add any feedback in the comments section to better help us understand your return or exchange


3) Ship back your The Active Room items within 7 days from your request. Otherwise we will not be able to accept your return or exchange. 

Please include your name, email address, order number, items to be returned, reason for return and approximate date of purchase. You will be emailed detailed instructions to follow. Please note it is the purchaser's responsibility to cover the cost of shipping and handling to return the unwanted item. Additionally if a product is returned but not accepted it will be the purchaser's responsibility to cover the cost of shipping and handling to return the item.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. 

You should expect to receive your refund within 3-4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

 Shipping Information

The Active Room understands the importance of bringing our customers fast, dependable shipping. We work hard to safely and securely ship your order with the least amount of wait time possible. However, during SALE TIMES, orders may be delayed 3 to 4 business days before shipping 

Please note, we do not guarantee arrival dates or times. We do not refund or credit shipping charges for any shipments.  The Active Room is not responsible for packages lost  or damaged by shipping carriers.

 

Can I ship my order to another address such as my work address?

Yes, You can choose to ship your order to another address. Just choose “Ship to another Address” during the checkout process. All payment methods allow for shipping to another address except American Express.  Your shipping and billing address must match to use American Express for payment.

 

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Yes we do – we can ship to any P.O. Box address. USPS only.  FedEx does not ship to P.O. Boxes at this time.

Do you ship COD?

NO- we do not ship COD.

 

How do I calculate my shipping costs?

The easiest way to calculate exact shipping charges is to go through the ordering process. The shipping charges will be calculated and displayed for you after you type in your shipping information. You will be shown the cost of shipping, as well as given an option to choose a shipping method before finalizing your order.

FREE shipping for domestic orders that total $150.00 or more!

We provide a free shipping option on orders totaling $150.00 or more. For small packages we use USPS Mail or UPS Ground services. Free Shipping in the USA only (Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are not included). Free shipping offer only applies to orders shipped in the U.S.A.

 

Shipping Methods

For fast and reliable shipping, we exclusively ship through USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground for free shipping packages. Currently only USPS is available at checkout. If you wish for your order to ship via FedEx or UPS ground please contact us before placing your order. Orders received before 12pm PT (Mon-Fri) are usually shipped the same day, however we do reserve the right to take up to 2 business days to process your order before shipping out. The delivery times stated only reflect the transit time and do not include the order processing time. Please note USPS does not deliver on Sundays and national holidays. The Active Room does not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

USPS Priority Mail

USPS Priority Mail is the fastest, most reliable shipping method for lightweight products. Every order is given a delivery confirmation number, allowing you to follow your package via the USPS website. The average parcel spends less than 48 hours in transit, and deliveries are made every day except Sunday. USPS will deliver to every address in the United States including PO Box, APO/FPO. For lighter and smaller packages, The Active Room may choose to ship via USPS to ensure faster delivery. Refer to the map below for a detailed estimate of transit time using USPS Priority shipping.

USPS Priority Mail Express orders must be submitted before 12pm PT to ship the following day. Any Priority Express orders placed after 12pm PT will be shipped the next business day.
